Ingersoll Support Services is governed by a group of community members who are passionate about the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Board of Directors
Chair - Holly Nadalin
Holly came onto the Board of Directors in November 2022. Holly is an environmental professional by trade, working with community groups, volunteers, non-profits and public service organizations to enhance community resilience and health and wellness. Holly is excited to use her skills and her passion for both business and community development to support the organization as a Board Member.
Vice-Chair - Kathleen Gifford
Kathleen became a Board Member in April of 2021. Kathleen has a long history engaged in the support of persons with intellectual challenges. An employee of ISSI many years ago, Kathleen is now engaged with Microboards Ontario as a Board Member and is also a member of Family Network Thames Valley (FNTV). Wife of Terry and mother of three, Kathleen is passionate about seeing people reach their full potential and the breaking down of the barriers that hold them back.
Secretary/Treasurer - andrew tosland
Andrew joined the Board in June 2024. He lives in Ingersoll with his wife and two kids. He works as a Controller at Allied Associates LLP and holds a CPA. Before that, he spent some time at YesTV. He enjoys all things IT, tackling home repair projects, and going for a run. Andrew is part of the Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church and helps out with the Friendship Club there.
Director - Cindy Male
Cindy joined the Board of Directors in June of 2019 and comes with a wealth of experience within the DS Sector and government. Now retired, Cindy worked within the Ministry of Community and Social Services for many years as a Youth Justice Trainer and FASD Trainer & Family Support Person. Over the years, she also worked for various community agencies supporting persons with developmental disabilities. Mother of three and wife to Anthony, Cindy continues to volunteer with various local agencies, including the Oxford Children’s Aid Society as a parent lead for their Adoption Support Group.
Director - John O'Connor
John became a Board Member in January 2023. He is a 35+ year employee with the London District Catholic School Board and is also a Past President of Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Oxford County. Father of 3 and husband to Michele, John is excited to use his experience and knowledge to further the mission of Ingersoll Support Services in our community.
Director - Rebecca Alves
Rebecca joined the ISSI Board of Directors in June of 2024. She lives in Ingersoll with her spouse and enjoys a mix of quiet hobbies and outdoor fun. She loves training dogs, getting creative with art, diving into a good book, and spending time at the cottage. She currently teaches a Grade 2/3 class at AJ Baker Public School within the Thames Valley District School Board. Before that, she held other teaching roles with TVDSB and worked as a support worker at ISSI.
Director - Melanie Baker
Melanie became a Board Member in June of 2025. She lives in Ingersoll with her spouse and enjoys spending time with family-especially watching her grandkids play sports. She enjoys kayaking, boating, and relaxing at the cottage. After a 38-year career with BMO Bank of Montreal, where she retired, Melanie has returned to the workforce part-time at Food Basics. She's now on the front line, scanning groceries and catching up with familiar faces in the community. Melanie is actively involved in several community activities, currently serving on the Micro Board for Down the Lane and acting on the Board as Treasurer for the Sterling Drain Maintenance Corporation.
Executive Director - Jayden Nancekivell
Jayden became the Executive Director of Ingersoll Support Services in August 2020. He came into the role following 12 years in various roles within the organization, including support work, office management and the position of Director of Finance & Operations. Jayden brings with him a passion for seeing people reach their fullest potential. He and his wife Amie are thrilled to be able to raise their family of 4 in the town of Ingersoll.
